Overview

The Marketing Communications Internship Cooperative seeks to identify and place quality students in internships with unit coordinators who are willing to train and mentor our students. Interns will gain real-world experience through project-based and day-to-day operational work in one of the communications offices at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Public Affairs will support for the program by:

• Providing interns access to Campus Communications Council (CCC) events such as networking, workshops and webinars
• Allocating office space for some interns, as well as computers and creative and business software packages
• Creating a central forum for general information and internship opportunities for participants (here!)
• Promoting the program to staff and students ongoing
• Acting as a general support resource for students, staff and faculty participating in the internship program
