LIFT Text Transcoder

How to use LIFT

In order to use LIFT on your Web site, you must have a URL that ends in uiuc.edu, illinois.edu, or uillinois.edu. If your site does not end in one of those three domains, contact us for help.

To preview your Web site through LIFT, paste the link below into a Web browser and replace "yoursite.illinois.edu" with your department URL.

Add the Filter

If you are using Dreamweaver or any other type of templates, server-side includes, library items, etc., you can add LIFT in minutes. Simply paste the code into your templates or individual Web pages. The code must NOT wrap. Remember to replace "yoursite.illinois.edu" with your URL.
